The Seattle Supersonics will be well represented in the 2018 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
While nearly all traces of the Seattle franchise have faded from memory, the last two active Sonics players in Kevin Durant and Jeff Green will square off on the league's biggest stage.
Durant and Green spent their rookie campaigns in Seattle during its final season in 2008. Those two promised a bright future for the Sonics, but the budding talents weren't enough to prevent team owner Clay Bennett from relocating the franchise to Oklahoma City.
The third active Sonics player left this season, Nick Collison, announced his retirement after the Thunder were bounced in the first round.
