P.J. Tucker is widely known as one of the NBA's toughest players, a reputation he's forged since getting back into the league with the Phoenix Suns in 2012-13 as a grinder on defense who isn't afraid to get physical.
Tucker's toughness may have hit a new level in Game 7 of the Western Conference finals, though, as Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports that the 33-year-old played after undergoing three root canals.
P.J. Tucker played Game 7 after three root canals. Didn't even tell teammates. Was unreal.

He may not be first-team All-Defense this year, but he's a front-runner for first-team All-Dentist.
