Study: How LeBron compares to Kobe, Shaq, Jordan at filling up road games

LeBron James is a big attendance draw, but just how much does he fill seats on the road?
To answer that question, a study conducted by Versus Reviews compared the average home-game attendance for each NBA team to the average attendance when they hosted James. They then compared that data to other NBA legends like Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, and Michael Jordan.
Among their findings:
- Jordan provided the most significant boost in road attendance at an average of 16.9 percent, followed by LeBron (8.2 percent), Kobe (8.06 percent), and Shaq (7.3 percent).
- Arenas were 10.8 percent more full when LeBron played for the Miami Heat, compared to a 6.9 percent boost in road attendance during his tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
- In their farewell seasons, Jordan filled 26.1 percent of road seats (1998), with Shaq at 9.4 percent, and Kobe at 8.3 percent.
