Former NBA player JJ Hickson was arrested Friday and charged with armed robbery with a knife and is being held without bail.
Hickson was arrested in Coweta County, just outside his hometown of Atlanta, authorities confirmed to Zachary Hansen of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The 29-year-old played eight seasons in the NBA after being selected 19th overall in 2008.
