Hornets draft Arnoldas Kulboka with No. 55 pick
With the No. 55 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the Charlotte Hornets selected Lithuanian forward Arnoldas Kulboka.
Kulboka averaged 8.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in 29 appearances for Italian side Orlandina. He's listed between 6-foot-9 and 6-foot-11, and that length makes the 20-year-old a difficult perimeter threat to defend. He shot 36.7 percent on 4.4 3-point attempts per contest last season.
Scouts have described Kulboka as a bit of an odd duck. "He marches to a different drummer," one unnamed scout told TNT analyst David Aldridge - before going on to compare the Lithuanian forward to former NBA sharpshooter Peja Stojakovic.

What the analysts are saying
- "Kulboka has significant talent and long-term upside at his disposal with his combination of size, athleticism, and outside shooting prowess." - Jonathan Givony, Draft Express.
- "This year, I wasn’t able to play much pick-and-roll or much off the ball. But I think I’m able to do that stuff. I think scouts will see that. Many people think I’m not athletic. Actually, I think I’m kind of athletic." - Arnoldas Kulboka, HoopsHype.
