The 19-year-old guard has taken part in two workouts with the Sixers over the past week.
He was named to the Big 12 All-Defensive Team during his freshman year at Texas Tech, averaging 11.3 points on 55.6 percent shooting with five rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 1.1 steals.
Philadelphia has several picks at its disposal, including the No. 10, 26, 38, 56, and 60 selections. It reportedly moved the No. 39 pick to the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday in exchange for a 2019 second-rounder and cash.
