Nevada guard Kendall Stephens will join the Orlando Magic's summer league squad after going undrafted, his mother told Chris Murray of the Reno Gazette Journal.

Since 2010, only Stephens and R.J. Hunter have finished a season averaging at least three 3-pointers per game (3.4), a true shooting percentage of at least 60 percent (64.5), and a block percentage greater than 2.5 (2.6).

What the analysts are saying

  • "At 6-6 with a soft stroke and long arms, Stephens is able to slice opponents up from long range while also defending multiple positions. During his one and only season in the Mountain West, Stephens broke Jimmer Fredette's single-season 3-point record with 126 made triples."
