Austin Rivers says he's opting in on final year of Clippers contract

Austin Rivers told the Los Angeles Times' Brad Turner that he's opting in on the final year of his contract with the Clippers.
Rivers, 25, is owed $12.6 million next season, the last of a three-year, $35-million contract he signed in 2016.
The son of Clippers coach Doc Rivers had his best statistical NBA season in 2017-18, averaging 15.1 points and four assists on 37.8 percent 3-point shooting.
The Clippers are still waiting to see if center DeAndre Jordan will opt in or out of the final year of his deal.
