The Boston Celtics are bolstering their backcourt by signing 28-year-old EuroLeague veteran Brad Wanamaker, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Starring for Fenerbahce last season, the 6-foot-4 point guard helped push the Turkish side to a Final Four appearance in the world's top circuit outside the NBA.
In 26.1 minutes per game in 36 appearances in EuroLeague, Wanamaker averaged 11.3 points, 3.8 assists, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game.
Prior to his career overseas, Wanamaker played all four years of college at Pittsburgh.
