Derrick Favors has agreed to a two-year, $36-million deal to remain with the Utah Jazz, reports Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated.
The second year of the deal is non-guaranteed, league sources told Tony Jones of The Salt Lake Tribune.
Favors' return to the Jazz isn't exactly surprising. He went on record earlier this week to say, "I know they want me back, and I want to come back. But, it's a business and a numbers game, so we'll have to see."
The 26-year-old has spent all but 56 games of his eight-year NBA career in Salt Lake City. He's coming off another solid season as the Jazz's starting power forward where he averaged 12.3 points on 56.3 percent shooting and 7.2 rebounds over 77 games.
