Report: Thunder, Jerami Grant agree to 3-year, $27M deal

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports / Media Express

The Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to re-sign forward Jerami Grant to a three-year, $27-million contract, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The third year of the deal is a player option, sources told Wojnarowski.

Grant's biggest asset to the Thunder is the lineup flexibility he affords them. He offers them multi-positional defense, off-ball slashing, some rim protection, and a modicum of spacing in small-ball lineups, where he can slot in at the four or the five.

In 81 games last season, he averaged 8.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and one block while shooting 53.5 percent from the field and 29.1 percent from 3-point range.
