The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to a one-year, $4.4-million deal with Ed Davis, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
With his move east, Nets general manager Sean Marks steals a vital piece from the Portland Trail Blazers' bench, and brings a high-character veteran into Brooklyn's organization.
The 6-foot-10 forward played in 78 games for the Blazers, averaging 5.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per contest while providing the team with excellent rim protection and athleticism at the defensive end.
