Salah Mejri will sign a contract and return to the Dallas Mavericks, according to a tweet from his agency, Priority Sports.
It's a one-year deal for the league minimum, league sources told Marc Stein of The New York Times.
Dallas reportedly became keen on bringing back the 7-foot-1 Tunisian after acquiring prized rookie Luka Doncic, who was teammates with Mejri at Real Madrid.
Mejri played in 61 games and started one for the Mavs this past season, averaging 3.5 points and 4.0 rebounds along with 1.1 blocks per contest.
