Thirteen-year NBA veteran Jose Calderon has agreed to a 1-year, $2.4-million deal with the Detroit Pistons, league sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes.
This will be Calderon's second stint in the Motor City as he played in 28 games for the team in 2012-13 after being included in the three-team trade that sent Rudy Gay to the Toronto Raptors.
He'll be reunited with Dwane Casey, who coached him for one-and-a-half seasons until Calderon departed Toronto.
Calderon was a lightly used reserve at the end of the Cleveland Cavaliers' bench this season, appearing in 57 games and averaging 4.5 points and 2.1 assists.
