The Philadelphia 76ers are finalizing a one-year deal to re-sign center Amir Johnson, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The 13-year veteran provides a strong presence in the locker room, and he'll be called upon again to guide his younger teammates while serving as a solid backup center. Johnson is also a clever and opportunistic player, and he's remained effective despite losing most of his athleticism.
Johnson averaged 4.6 points and 4.5 rebounds last season across 74 appearances during his first year with the Sixers.
