Report: Bucks add Brook Lopez
Free-agent center Brook Lopez has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks for the bi-annual exception, according to Yahoo Sports' Jordan Schultz.
The bi-annual exception for 2018-19 is worth roughly $3.4 million.
Milwaukee has struggled to find a reliable center to add to their inconsistent roster. Lopez will provide an able body to protect the rim while giving the Bucks the offensive spacing next to Giannis Antetokounmpo they have sorely lacked.
The young and rail thin combination of John Henson and Thon Maker has struggled to flourish in Milwaukee, making Lopez a welcome change for newly appointed head coach Mike Budenholzer.
In his lone season with the Los Angeles Lakers last season, Lopez averaged 13 points and four rebounds while hitting 34.5 percent on 4.4 attempts from three in 23.4 minutes.
