The San Antonio Spurs are declining to match a four-year, $37-million offer sheet Kyle Anderson received from the Memphis Grizzlies, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The deal will reportedly be for the Grizzlies' full mid-level exception, fully guaranteed, and includes a 15-percent trade kicker
San Antonio had until Sunday evening to come to a decision on Anderson after he signed his offer sheet on Friday.
The 24-year-old will likely be slotted into Memphis' starting lineup at small forward - a role which is nothing new to Anderson, having started 67 of his 74 appearances with the Spurs in 2017-18.
He averaged 7.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.6 steals for the 47-win Spurs, and ranked sixth among all small forwards in real plus-minus (3.12).
