Some fans aren't loving the new purple Lakers jersey
The Los Angeles Lakers already have one of the most iconic looks in the NBA and throughout the sports world. But one aspect of their newly unveiled 2018-19 jerseys is raising eyebrows.

Whereas the "Icon" and "Association" jerseys have solid yellow and white patterns more in line with the team's look from past years, the "Statement" jersey has solid black side panels - a stark change from the previous purple jersey featuring yellow side panels:
