LeBron jokingly congratulates Melo on memorable run with Hawks
If you blinked, you probably missed Carmelo Anthony's stint as a member of the Atlanta Hawks.
The 10-time All-Star forward played a grand total of zero minutes for Atlanta following his trade from the Oklahoma City Thunder, but the organization was at least courteous enough to send him a team jersey days after completing a $25.5-million buyout of his contract.
Hey @carmeloanthony your jersey is on it’s way...good luck, fam! pic.twitter.com/Yzh04ZUzSp

LeBron James sarcastically congratulated his close friend Anthony on Twitter for his run with the Hawks, which barely lasted a week.

Anthony can bring his never-worn Hawks jersey with him to the Lone Star State, where he'll play for the Houston Rockets in 2018-19 after reportedly verbally agreeing to a one-year contract.
