Butler says he and Wade are cool after IG exchange: 'That's my brother'
The recent back-and-forth on Instagram between Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade appears to have been blown out of proportion.
While walking out of a Los Angeles restaurant Tuesday, Butler shot down the notion that there's any beef with his 2016-17 Chicago Bulls teammate after Butler flirtatiously commented on a photo of Wade's wife, actress Gabrielle Union, last week.
"Yeah, that's my brother," Butler said to TMZ Sports.
As far as whether Butler's comment was just "harmless fun" on his part, the Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star said, "We'll let the fans keep guessing."
Wade appeared less than pleased with Butler's comment, moving the conversation to the 28-year-old's post to remind him: "Put well damn in caps on my wife photo again and you're gonna see the good, the bad, and the ugly is like."
If Butler's response to Wade wasn't enough - in which he said he was still going to attend Wade's summer barbecue and included the laughing emoji - this should put to rest any rumors of a legitimate beef.
