Look: Giannis finally gets workout with Kobe
All Giannis Antetokounmpo wanted was an opportunity to work out with "The Black Mamba" Kobe Bryant this summer. He expressed his desire to do so ahead of the NBA's All-Star Weekend in February, saying he wanted to train with the Los Angeles Lakers icon and pick Bryant's brain over dinner.
It looks like "The Greek Freak" fulfilled at least half of his mission on Thursday, as the Milwaukee Bucks superstar posted a photo to Instagram of himself next to Bryant following a workout.
"It's all about how he thinks," the 23-year-old said of Bryant in February, according to ESPN's Eric Nehm. "It's about how they think, how the greats think. How they think about the game.
"I want to see how he thinks about the game, how he sees the game, how he would play today, would he change something about the way he plays. Obviously, he's watched me play, and hopefully, he can give me some tips."
At this time last year, Bryant challenged Antetokounmpo to win the NBA's Most Valuable Player Award as one of his many Mamba Mentality challenges on social media.
