LeBron to produce comedy series inspired by Ben Simmons
LeBron James and Ben Simmons are teaming up on a new television series.
James' SpringHill Entertainment, alongside former "Fresh Off the Boat" co-executive producer Kourtney Kang, will executive produce a comedy for NBC called "Brotherly Love," which is inspired by Simmons' upbringing, according to Nellie Andreeva of Deadline. The series centers on a sibling relationship within a multi-ethnic family as they navigate life in Philadelphia.
Simmons, who was born to an Australian mother and an American father, is the youngest of six children, including four half-siblings. He and his brother, Sean Tribe, will serve as consulting producers on the series.
NBC has given "Brotherly Love" a script commitment, but there's no premiere information as of yet.
