Rozier realized he was famous when Steve Urkel recognized him
After enjoying a breakout postseason with the Boston Celtics, Terry Rozier is being recognized in public by other famous faces.
In an interview with GQ's Clay Skipper, Rozier said he knew he'd made it when Jaleel White - aka Steve Urkel from the '90s sitcom "Family Matters" - stopped to congratulate him.
"Man, Urkel," Rozier said. "We were out to eat in L.A. He was with his bodyguards. He got up to leave and he tapped me. 'You had a great year.' Everybody knows who Steve Urkel is. That was nuts.
"It's been crazy all summer. People can take it two ways. They can either be satisfied or it can be a thing where, 'I want this to happen forever.' It's definitely humbling and it's a blessing. I want this to always be like this."
Rozier's crazy summer also included him being brought on stage during a Drake concert in Boston.
Drake brought Terry Rozier on stage at the Garden last night to get buckets. Terry’s mom @GINATUCKER1 sent me this cool vid of it. Must have been those shady state fair rims, ha, but still cool. pic.twitter.com/LaRGgvEndf
