Magic Johnson, Luke Walton interested in 'Space Jam 2' role
Los Angeles Lakers president of basketball operations Magic Johnson and head coach Luke Walton are both available for "Space Jam 2" if LeBron James wants them.
After James' SpringHill Entertainment announced plans to move forward with the film on Wednesday, Johnson and Walton were asked if they'd be interested in making an appearance.
"If they have the budget for me, I'll be in it," Johnson said Thursday, according to Ryan Ward of Clutch Points.
Walton made a similar statement to TMZ Sports.
"I'm a huge fan of "Space Jam," so if they offer, I'll be in it," Walton said.
ESPN's Dave McMenamin also reported Wednesday that there have been discussions about bringing Michael Jordan on board for the movie, but it's unclear what his level of involvement would be.
