Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins has signed a multi-year shoe deal with Puma, according to ESPN's Nick DePaula.
Nike will reportedly have 10 days to exercise their match clause rights to retain Boogie.
Cousins quickly becomes the highest-profile NBA player to sign with Puma, as the popular German brand made their grand re-entrance into the basketball realm earlier this year.
Puma initially made a splash with several rookies, adding Deandre Ayton, Kevin Knox, Marvin Bagley, Zhaire Smith, and Michael Porter Jr. to their roster. They've also signed veterans Terry Rozier and Rudy Gay.
The WNBA also came to a sponsorship agreement with Puma this summer.
