Sixers file trademark for 'Trust the Process'
The Philadelphia 76ers are finally ready to trademark "Trust the Process."
The team recently submitted a trademark application for the phrase, which was made popular by former Sixers general manager Sam Hinkie, and plan to use it for a variety of things, according to trademark attorney Josh Gerben.
The 76ers filed a trademark for TRUST THE PROCESS on Sept 26.

The team has never attempted to protect the phrase, until now.
The filing indicates the @sixers will fully embrace the phrase by using it to advertise basketball clinics, fan clubs, video games and fantasy leagues. pic.twitter.com/zFzmNlO1kq
Joel Embiid filed a trademark for "The Process" in 2016.
In May, the Buffalo Bills also submitted a trademark application for a similar phrase, "Respect the Process," for use on cellphone covers, posters, drinking glasses, and other products.
