With most NBA fans outside of Oregon and Washington, D.C., glued to Monday night's marquee overtime battle between LeBron James' Los Angeles Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs, one could be forgiven for missing an odd - and likely discipline-worthy - interaction between two role players in the Portland Trail Blazers' own overtime game versus the visiting Washington Wizards.

With 3.3 seconds left in regulation and the game tied at 111 points apiece, Trail Blazers guard Seth Curry set up in the left corner - directly in front of the Wizards' bench. With the ball in play, Washington forward Markieff Morris - with one foot on the playing surface - reached out from his place on the sideline and briefly appeared to hold on to Curry's shorts:

The impact of Morris' action on the final play of regulation was arguably negligible. All-Star guard Damian Lillard drove to the hoop for a potential game-winning layup, and Curry was still well-defended by Otto Porter Jr. in the corner, with or without Morris' interference.

There was no indication that the officials were aware of any contact between Curry and Morris, as no discipline was assessed. In fact, Morris would go on to play a crucial role in overtime, scoring nine of the Wizards' 14 points, assisting on a 3-pointer by Kelly Oubre Jr., and grabbing a pair of rebounds en route to Washington's 125-124 victory.
