Jimmer Fredette may be on his way to joining the likes of Stephon Marbury in Chinese Basketball Association lore.
The former BYU and NBA player scored 75 points for the Shanghai Sharks in Sunday's loss to the Beijing Fly Dragons. Fredette's professional career high included 40 points in the fourth quarter.
The 29-year-old shot 24-of-34 from the floor, 7-for-10 from deep, and 20-of-21 from the foul line.
Not to be completely outdone, former Baylor standout Pierre Jackson scored 63 points in Beijing's victory.
