Bucks' Henson needs wrist surgery, reportedly out at least 3 months

Milwaukee Bucks center John Henson will undergo surgery for a torn left wrist ligament, the team announced Friday.

The Bucks won't update his status until after the surgery, but Henson will miss at least 12 weeks of action, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The 6-foot-11 big man initially injured his wrist against the Portland Trail Blazers on Nov. 6. He played in the next three contests but experienced "additional discomfort" in Wednesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Henson averaged 5.6 points and 5.1 boards through 14 appearances this season.

The Bucks also announced that rookie guard Donte DiVincenzo will miss at least three games with a minor quad strain. He's averaging 6.4 points in 18.1 minutes per game.
