Philadelphia 76ers guard Markelle Fultz might need to prepare for another demotion after starting the first 15 games of the year.

The struggling sophomore played just seven minutes in Monday's 119-114 win over the Phoenix Suns. Meanwhile, third-stringer T.J. McConnell got nine minutes after not touching the floor over the last three contests.

76ers head coach Brett Brown isn't ready to commit to who will become Ben Simmons' backup.

"I don't know," Brown said when asked about the positional battle, according to ESPN's Tim Bontemps.

"Just when I think it through deeper and look at tape and see who we're playing, the next opponent, all those things I should do," he added.

Fultz's shot form still looks awkward - he even double-clutched a free throw last week against the Miami Heat.

The 20-year-old is averaging 8.2 points, 3.7 boards, and 3.1 assists this season.
