Dwight Howard is the latest NBA player to venture into filmmaking.
The Washington Wizards center has signed on as an executive producer of "Percy," an indie film starring Christopher Walken as a Saskatchewan farmer who challenges a major conglomerate after discovering genetically modified canola in his crop, according to Amanda N'Duka of Deadline.
The film is being directed by Clark Johnson, whose past directorial work includes "The Wire," "The Walking Dead," and "Homeland."
Howard underwent back surgery on Nov. 30 and is expected to miss two-to-three months.
