Bulls front office members attended meeting between coaches, players

Chicago Bulls executive vice president John Paxton and general manager Gar Forman were present for Sunday's team meeting between players and coaches, according to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson.

The meeting happened just a day after the Bulls suffered a record-setting 133-77 loss to the Boston Celtics.

Players were reportedly uninterested in practicing after the defeat, electing to set up a players only meeting against newly-appointed head coach Jim Boylen's wishes.

Sources told Johnson that some members of the Bulls roster were advocating to not show up to practice altogether, with others adamant that the team be present and gather for a meeting instead.

The Bulls fired head coach Fred Hoiberg and replaced him with associate head coach Boylen on Dec. 3 after a 5-19 start. The front office has shown commitment to their newly-appointed coach past this season, announcing their interest in keeping Boylen long term.
