Nike commemorating Kobe's 81-point game with new sneaker

Nike will pay tribute to Kobe Bryant's 81-point game later this month with a special colorway of his signature sneaker.

The company announced it will be releasing the Kobe 1 Protro "81 Pt Game" on Jan. 22 to mark the 13th anniversary of Bryant's legendary performance against the Toronto Raptors. It's the same colorway Bryant wore during the game.

DeMar DeRozan debuted the shoe Wednesday night during the San Antonio Spurs' loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
