Jimmy Butler didn't dominate in the Philadelphia 76ers' 149-107 victory over his old Minnesota Timberwolves squad Tuesday, but he did enjoy the win.
"I do want to beat those guys, but I want to beat every team," Butler told reporters postgame. "It was everything that I thought it would be, seeing some old faces. Not too much trash talking, though. I don't think anybody's talking like that. I like the fact that we beat them."
Butler scored 19 points on an efficient 8-for-10 shooting, including 3-of-4 from deep.
He added that he planned to take Timberwolves interim coach Ryan Saunders a bottle of wine after the game.
Butler makes his return to Minnesota with the 76ers on March 30.
