Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon returned to action and started Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets.
It's a shot in the arm for a depleted Rockets squad that's still missing Chris Paul and Clint Capela, and saw Danuel House Jr. return to the G League after failing to come to an agreement on an NBA contract.
Gordon missed the Rockets' last eight games with a bruised right knee. His return gives Houston an established presence on the wing, even if he's shooting just 30 percent from deep this season - the second-lowest mark of his 11-year NBA career.
