A day after he recorded his first career double-double, Chicago Bulls rookie Chandler Hutchison suffered a bone injury in his right foot, the team announced.

He will be in a walking boot for two-to-four weeks and will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.

The 6-foot-7 small forward had a career outing against the Los Angeles Clippers Friday night, recording 12 points, 12 rebounds, a pair of assists, and a steal in just over 41 minutes of action. It was easily the most usage Hutchison had seen in his short career to date, surpassing his previous career high in playing time of 33:20 from the game prior - the Jan. 23 outing where he actually suffered the foot injury, according to the Bulls.

The Boise State product has seen his profile increase dramatically under Bulls coach Jim Boylen. Hutchison has started the Bulls' past 11 games, averaging 8.2 points on 45.9 percent shooting with 5.5 rebounds per night.

“It’s obviously disappointing,” Boylen said, according to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson. “He’s playing at a high level and seems to be figuring it out.”
