While the NBA's average television viewership hit a four-year high last season, illegal and pirated online streams remained prevalent.
Consumer website Comparitech conducted a study of the popular subreddit /r/NBAStreams to see which teams and games were targeted the most by illegal streaming during the 2017-18 NBA season.
The Cleveland Cavaliers finished with the highest pirate streams rating, followed by the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, and Los Angeles Lakers. With LeBron James now in L.A., those findings will likely change for 2018-19.

The two most pirated games during the 2017-18 regular season both involved the Cavs and Celtics, while Game 1 of the NBA Finals was the most pirated playoff matchup.
