The Toronto Raptors traded veteran center Greg Monroe and a second-round pick to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for cash considerations ahead of Thursday's deadline.
Monroe was a late-summer acquisition for the Raptors and was expected to become the third center behind Serge Ibaka and Jonas Valanciunas.
The 28-year-old is averaging a career-low 4.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in 11.1 minutes per game.
