Houston Rockets star James Harden topped the 30-point mark for the 31st consecutive game Wednesday, tying Wilt Chamberlain for the second-longest stretch in NBA history.
Chamberlain also holds the all-time record of 65 straight games.
Harden finished with 42 points in a 121-111 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the fourth time in six contests that he's scored 40-plus. The last time he was held to fewer than 30 was Dec. 11 against the Portland Trail Blazers.
