LeBron confirms 'Space Jam 2' will begin filming this summer

LeBron James has a busy offseason ahead of him.
While in Charlotte for NBA All-Star Weekend, James confirmed he and Warner Bros. will begin production on the sequel to 1996's "Space Jam" this summer.

"Space Jam 2" was granted a $21.8-million tax credit to shoot in California after being selected for the state's Film & TV Tax Credit Program 2.0.
The film's director, Terence Nance, told Vice's Taylor Hosking last month that he expects it to "disrupt everything."
