Terrence Jones is returning to where it all began.
The Houston Rockets are reportedly signing the 27-year-old forward to a 10-day contract, league sources told ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
Jones was selected 18th overall by the franchise in the 2012 NBA Draft. He went on to spend four seasons in Houston, averaging 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks on 51.2 percent shooting across 178 total appearances.
Jones has put up monster numbers across the board in the G League with the Erie BayHawks this season. He's averaged 23.5 points, 9.6 boards, 5.7 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.8 rejections in 30.8 minutes.
The plan is for Jones to be assigned to Houston's G League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, for evaluation.
