The New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to terms with EuroLeague guard Dairis Bertans, sources told ESPN's Jonathan Givony and Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal will reportedly include a 2019-20 team option.

The 6-foot-4 Latvian is currently signed with Italian club Olimpia Milano but owns an NBA opt-out clause that will allow him to leave Europe and join the Pelicans.

Bertans is leading the EuroLeague in 3-point percentage, shooting 53.6 percent on 3.3 attempts per game.

The Pelicans reportedly waived guard Tim Frazier to make room for the acquisition.

The 29-year-old Dairis is the older brother of San Antonio Spurs forward Davis Bertans.

The Pelicans rank 26th in the Association in 3-point percentage, connecting on just 34.2 percent of their 29 attempts per game.
