Elfrid Payton becomes 5th player with 5 straight triple-doubles
New Orleans Pelicans point guard Elfrid Payton joined an elite group of players Monday night during his team's 129-125 win over the Dallas Mavericks.
Payton finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists in 37 minutes of action, making him the fifth player in NBA history to record a triple-double in at least five consecutive games.

The only other players to do so in the last 35 years are Russell Westbrook and Michael Jordan. Wilt Chamberlain and Oscar Robertson also accomplished the feat.
