Jimmy Butler of the Philadelphia 76ers and Jared Dudley of the Brooklyn Nets were ejected in the third quarter of Game 4 of the teams' playoff series Saturday.
The fracas began after a hard foul by Joel Embiid on Jarrett Allen under the basket. Dudley then shoved Embiid, followed by Butler shoving Dudley. The resulting pile on pushed players and officials into the first row of seating at the Barclays Center.
Dudley and Butler were both assessed double technicals and tossed. Embiid was called for a flagrant-1 foul.
Tensions between the two teams have been building throughout the series, with Dudley again talking trash to Sixers point guard Ben Simmons in the first half.
