The Portland Trail Blazers have agreed to a contract extension with president of basketball operations Neil Olshey through 2024, the team announced Friday.
Olshey has been the top basketball decision-maker in Portland since 2012. While his drafting track record and free-agent signings have produced mixed results, the Blazers have averaged 46 wins per season while making the playoffs six times under his watch.
This season, the team reached the Western Conference finals for the first time since 2000.
