Nurse: Anunoby 'about 10 days away from playing'
The Toronto Raptors' bench could soon receive some much-needed depth with the return of OG Anunoby.
Raptors head coach Nick Nurse told reporters on Monday that the sophomore is "probably about 10 days away from playing," according to Sportsnet's Michael Grange.
It was previously reported that the team was optimistic Anunoby would return at some point during The Finals, and Nurse's estimation suggests the forward could be in the Raptors' rotation ahead of Game 4 in Golden State.
Anunoby hasn't played since undergoing an emergency appendectomy just before the start of the postseason.
The 21-year-old was a key contributor off the bench this campaign after starting 62 games during the regular season and 10 in the playoffs last year.
He averaged seven points and 2.9 rebounds in 67 appearances this season.
