Report: Reid inks two-way deal with Timberwolves
Undrafted center Naz Reid has reportedly signed a two-way NBA contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to the Athletic's Shams Charania.
Reid's shown plenty of potential to develop into a successful pro, providing a legitimate outside threat - 33.3 percent on 2.5 3-pointers per game - and an interior presence with touch around the rim.
The Tigers product made strides in improving his weight and stamina throughout the year. However, his body fat percentage was at 14 during the combine in May and it's unlikely he'll be able to immediately supply a major role without continued effort in that department.

What the analysts are saying
- "To Reid’s credit, he picked up his individual effort in the second half of the season, and LSU benefitted. A prototypical modern big man he is not, but Reid is a good rebounder when engaged, has a diverse (if not always effective) offensive skill set, and can look surprisingly nimble facing up and taking bigs off the dribble." - Sports Illustrated's Jeremy Woo
"The ultra-talented Reid was all over the place this season at LSU, displaying his tremendous touch and agility at times and getting exposed defensively while showing little motor on other nights." - ESPN's Jonathan Givony
