Miami Heat guard Goran Dragic has picked up his $19.2-million player option for the 2019-20 season, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Dragic will enter the final year of the five-year, $86-million deal he signed with the Heat in 2015.
The Slovenian is coming off a difficult 2018-19 season after missing 46 games with multiple leg injuries. Dragic saw a significant dip in production following an All-Star appearance in 2018, averaging 13.7 points and 4.8 assists.
Dragic, 33, figures to be a key trade chip for the Heat as he remains an effective point guard when healthy.
