Report: Lakers get permission to speak with Warriors' Ron Adams

The Los Angeles Lakers have been given permission to speak with Golden State Warriors assistant coach Ron Adams for a position on Frank Vogel's staff, sources told ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk and Adrian Wojnarowski.
Adams, 71, has been with the Warriors since 2014 and is considered one of the top defensive coaching specialists in the NBA.
Vogel was named head coach of the Lakers on May 13. His staff includes Jason Kidd.
