Note to Paul Millsap: Don't cancel your lease yet.
The Denver Nuggets are exercising their $30.2-million team option to retain the power forward through the end of the 2019-20 season, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The option will bring the 34-year-old to the end of the pact he signed in 2017, which followed four consecutive All-Star Game selections for Millsap as a member of the Atlanta Hawks.
Millsap has averaged 13.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game through two seasons in Colorado, forming a solid frontcourt tandem with 2019 All-Star Nikola Jokic.
